Three UHaul and Budget trucks were vandalized this weekend in response to their role in the South Shore invasion this past week.
Federal agents violently attacked a residential building in the middle of the night using the full force of their military equipment including flashbang grenades and Blackhawk helicopters. Reports estimate about 300 pigs from multiple federal agencies took part. Residents described doors kicked in and apartments ransacked as families were dragged out into the night and kidnapped, stolen from their homes to be handcuffed and trapped in unmarked vans. One resident described the attack as a “siege” and multiple witnesses feared the traumatic impact this would have on the children living in the building and attending the nearby school. Photo documentation shows federal agents conducted the siege using Budget and Uhaul trucks, which is a direct violation of their terms of service, in addition to being morally reprehensible.
We call on other friends in the city to join us as we justly retaliate against Budget and UHaul for being complicit in fascist attacks against our neighbors. It doesn’t take much: it’s easy to spot the trucks as you take a walk or a bike ride around your neighborhood, especially near the end of the month when folks are moving. If you go when the sun’s up, it’ll be easier to identify what vulnerability on the truck you want to attack (glass, exhaust pipe, gas tank, tires, etc.), and easier to scout for any potential surveillance risks. Once you’ve found a few targets, come back after the sun’s gone down and let ‘er rip!
To Budget and UHaul: the damage done to your trucks is nowhere near what’s deserved for your role in this shameful and disgusting act. We will not stop until you sever your ties with these fascist pigs! If you attack our city, we will attack back!
