We are not special. Our skills are not overly technical or advanced, and our tools are simple to acquire. If you are reading this, you are capable of doing what we do.
While I agree with this sentiment, the reader is left with many questions about how to develop such a capacity for action, even if they are motivated. What exactly does it take to not get caught carrying out heavy actions like arson? This is especially important in the long run; not getting caught for a single arson is one thing, but being able to continue carrying out attacks in the face of heightened repressive attention is quite another.
For anyone who wants to carry out actions like this, but isn’t doing so yet, I’ve sketched an outline of the steps I think are necessary to sustain hard-hitting attacks on domination (limited to the topic of “operational” considerations, i.e., acquiring skills). This brief outline is intended to orient you and provide a “learning path” — each step has recommended reading that actually goes into the appropriate amount of depth on the subject. Use the Tails operating system to visit these links, which runs from a USB drive and leaves no trace on your computer. What I’ve written here is by no means definitive, and I hope to spark a dialogue about any operational aspects I may have neglected, as well as anything outside this scope that is important for sustaining and intensifying the capacity for action. On Tuesday February 13th, University of Wisconsin police officers assaulted at least two UW students at a protest against Israeli arms suppliers BAE systems, CAT and General Dynamics at a “career fair” on their campus. Violent piece of shit, Adam Boardman, who makes $126,000 a year professionally beating up students, was caught on video throwing one student headfirst into a door before slamming an already handcuffed student into a wall.
We thought people might like to know a little more about Boardman, in case they want to tell him how they feel about the little rampage he went on last week:

You can also tell his boss to fire him at:
Brent Plisch
UW students have protested genocidal, ecocidal and otherwise evil companies at “career fair” recruiting events in the past. They have successfully prevented companies from whitewashing their crimes by handing out flyers detailing their atrocities in front of their booth. This tactic was so successful that the unversity had to make a new set of career fair rules to specifically ban handing out literature of any kind (even though handing out resumes and brochures is literally the main point of a career fair lol).
A video of some of the assaults can be seen here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C3YYETqrvoK/

Dear Parents,
I see the weight you’re carrying. The endless pitying gazes and contempt for you for your kid “not measuring up” and you for “caving” and “not modelling well” and everything. The housing prices, the logistics, the patriarchal pressures on any partnerships you’re in. The endless hours at the office forced to hide all emotion, smile, and put just the right amount of pressure to keep a living wage. The bodyshame around pregnancy and not pregnancy and former pregnancy. You are loved in all of this, I know that’s nowhere near sufficient, but we can work this out.
I know you’re afraid for your neurodivergent children and what will happen if they don’t have the skills to be safe in the world. I know you see the onslaught they will face for their atypical traits as they get older, and already do today. All the school board meetings and bullying and threats.
But your childrens’ subversive, unrestrainable, desperate urges to flap their hands, spin, bite themselves, read that physics textbook at age 6, NOT TALK, NOT BE PERCIEVED, and all of the above are not achievements, they are not delays, and they are not just “attention-seeking.” They are the products of desperation in the cold amethyst pulsing and shredding, like a thousand bladed mace, of the flourescent light, the voices that to you are a distraction and to them are swarming insects. They are a brain that cannot be changed and whose cravings for meaning and comfort cannot be socialized away without great torment. Continue reading “~~~ BEHAVIOR IS COMMUNICATION ~~~”
Is our love finite? Must we only exchange care by compulsion?
On March 9, at 10 AM, outside the Prairie Cafe (with possible remote options), the tranarchists of Middleton Hills will descend with our unbridled, unconfined, unrestrained love and desire to discuss the seminal essay of Voltairine de Cleyre on the societal harms and personal violation of marriage and monogamy. We will also discuss a short piece of biographical material on Voltairine de Cleyre written by her (totally platonic, no feral love or connection whatsoever, very straight) friend Emma Goldman as context for De Cleyre’s rhetoric and experiences.
Why is marriage a violation? It deeply restrains the resolution of interpersonal dynamics to something based on preserving a “product”–the nuptial vow–rather than the needs of people, and creates duties out of social relationships that could be a sustainment of an unsustainable joy. It encourages the patriarchal domination over birthing bodies, treating peoples’ joyous, contradictory, and vulnerable experiences as mere means to reproduction. And finally, it forces us to love finitely, rather than sharing unfathomable queer desire however is consensual and being made the closer to those we love precisely by the fact that we are not alone in loving. We do not own each other. Let that release, shatter, and satisfy you.

have you heard of MTU? it’s a subsidiary of Rolls Royce, based in Germany (but also operate in turtle island). a quick review of the MTU Solutions website will reveal they manufacture diesel engines for many unfavorable purposes: oil/gas extraction, mining vehicles, yachts, and perhaps most notably– military use.
MTU engines power 80% of the Israeli naval boats, as well as their Merkava tanks and armored personnel carriers. additionally, Rolls Royce components make possible the F-35 warplanes that carry out the genocidal airstrikes on Gaza.
“what better way to remember Tort than to leave caltrops and wall/window messages for a MTU engine technician training center?”, we thought.
and did.

With love and rage a vigil for Tortuguita
Wentworth Park, 100 N Grand Ave, Lansing
Thursday 1/18 7:30pm
It’s been 1 year since forest defender Manuel Esteban Paez Teran (Tortuguita) was murdered by ATL police as they sat in their tent, legs crossed, hands up…
Join us in holding space for our fallen comrade, while connecting with others to learn about solidarity efforts taking place in Michigan.
Dress warmly and bring something for the altar. #stopcopcity
On January 18, 2023, Georgia State Patrol officers entered the Weelaunee Forest alongside police from other agencies in the region. They sought to clear the encampments re-established there in the weeks prior. A month earlier, on December 13, a similar operation cleared encampments after a year of struggle, and culminated in the arrest of 6 forest defenders on obscene and fraudulent charges of Domestic Terrorism.
When Patrolmen entered the forest in January, they entered into a long confrontation they had little or no experience with, a confrontation pitting free people, local residents, environmentalists, aspiring revolutionaries, and itinerant insurrectionalists against the Atlanta Police Foundation, the Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens and his submissive City Council, Michael Thurmond and the Dekalb County government, Ryan Millsap and Shadowbox Studios, and all of the contractors hoping to devastate the land, displace its life forms, and replace them with a police training facility and soundstage complex.
This struggle has been something of a burning torch for class confrontation and subversive cultural innovation in the United States for nearly 3 years. It would not be an exaggeration to say this has been the sharpest struggle in North America during the entirety of the Biden-Harris administration.
The nature of this confrontation was altered permanently by the hasty and poorly-made decisions of Jerry Parrish, Bryland Myers, Jonathan Salcedo, Ronaldo Kegel, Royce Zah, and Mark Jonathan Lamb. These officers ambushed and killed Tortuguita, the nom de guerre with which we knew a 26 year old anarchist living in the forest.

“If the cops kill me I want you to riot
Burn down their stations and set their cars alight
Know that I went out fighting and wish we all
Could just have peace and be free
…
We cannot have peace until this empire falls. Even then, peace takes work and freedom is a constant struggle. If the cops kill me I want you to riot, to kill as many of them as you can.” – Tort’s diary p. 121
Tortuguita lived and died fighting for the dispossessed, the wild, and the feral; against the world of empire, prisons, and police. It was a true warrior who made the forest its home, devoted their life to the struggle, and was willing to die a revolutionary death rather than be captured. We invite all those who knew Tort, and all who were impacted by its life from afar, to take the anniversary of their death as an opportunity to reflect on our own commitments and deepen our resolve, so that we might invigorate and intensify our conflictuality.
Rather than retreat into the bounds of comfort and safety, let us allow our memory of Tort to remind us of what it means to truly act in accordance with our values, and to challenge ourselves to follow through. We are rendered harmless only when we allow our fear of the enemy to eclipse our desires to defend the land and reduce this capitalist hellworld to ashes. Remember that the mechanisms of subjugation and control encroach all around us. Wherever you are, you need not venture far to find the veins of industry; go out and sever them.
We need not be concerned with optics and media portrayals. We have no interest in seeking validation, recognition, or understanding from the same media outlets — agents of the society we wish to destroy — that deadname and misgender Tortuguita and relentlessly whitewash its life as one of nonviolence and passivity. Additionally, to contort our actions to render them acceptable to the general public is to inevitably dull them to the point of irrelevance. To work only within the confines of the existent is to disarm ourselves completely. As anarchists, we are able to speak to each other in a language all our own. When we redecorate walls, shatter windows, and set fires, we speak to each other in ways that the media and the general public need not understand; we become beautiful. When we refuse legibility, when we refuse sympathy and demands, we refuse cooptation, we refuse recuperation, and we seek out life.
