ATTENTION NEIGHBOR, YOUR DEATH IS ON THE DOCKET.
At the site of the demolished Nokia building on the northwest corner of Warrenville and Naperville Road, Karis Critical, LLC is attempting to commit ecocide and endanger the general public with the construction of two 211,000 square foot data centers on the Nokia property in Naperville. While presented as economic development, this project poses serious, permanent risks to our community, environment, and a furthering the US imperialist project which is aiding an embedding in genocide in Palestine, Congo and Yemen. This project is similar to the one being proposed in Chicago, Illinois. Where a data center is attempting to be built in a predominantly Black community. Endangering the health of vulnerable people in their communities as well. Their struggle against techno-fascism and ours is directly interconnected. We need each other if we hope to win.

• Stand in solidarity with those in opposition to the 9 Billion dollar Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park(IQMP) on the shores of southern Lake Michigan or Mishigami. We must stand in solidarity with those undergoing the same struggle to defend their own communities from techno-fascism. Prison censorship is a front in the fascist american project. For the millions buried by the largest prison system on the planet, we know that access to communication and reading materials remain one of the only ways people behind bars can maintain humanity. Prison is censorship, a system of walls and borders that criminalizes people and ideas: a system we are determined to break by building bridges of solidarity – through sharing books and publishing zines.
Coinciding with the fascistic expansion of police and cop city projects, the prison censorship machine has rapidly marched on, consuming the majority of local, state and federal facilities. Played-out “war on drugs” fear mongering is why most people behind bars no longer receive physical mail: books are banned under cover of “content-neutral” and “publisher-only” restrictions, and private monopolies experiment with dystopian tablet technologies to monitor and profit from all communications.
Illinois has been one of the last holdouts until last year when prison copagandists began another all-too-familiar disinformation campaign. Guards are staging drug exposure hospitalization stunts to take away physical mail – incidents easily disproved as impossible by medical experts and according to IDOC’s own confiscation and exposure data. Unlike other states, this battle is being waged at capitol: multiple bills for and against mail scanning are being debated in Springfield. IDOC has not made any announcements yet, but has signed a new phone/email/tablet contract with ICSolutions: Illinois could fall to all-digital mail unless we organize now to stop it.
One voice that has not been heard from are those behind bars who are bearing the brunt of their draconian machinations. We made sure to share their plans to thousands of our incarcerated correspondents throughout IDOC, asking for comments and strategies on how to fight back and providing information on the bills and the addresses to write congress. Throughout these pages you’ll hear directly how mail censorship affects life behind bars: and special appreciations to the brave souls writing us, refusing to be silenced.
We are determined to stop mail scanning and book bans in Illinois: we share these tools and updates, seeking comrades to help break down the panopticon through underground networks of paper and print. Free the books, free the mail, free the people – free them all!
Spring 2025 Scouting at Proposed Location for the Quantum Campus

Comrades visited Steelworkers Park and walked through the surrounding land to scout the area where the Quantum campus is scheduled to be constructed. This report back is based on two scouts. Go and see for yourself.
Steelworkers Park is a public city park: folks are on walks with their dogs, fishing, climbing, and birdwatching. There’s free parking, DIVY bikes, and community work days. A cop car was present in the cul-de-sac of the entrance/parking/exit, like at many public parks. Rainbow Beach is further north, another public park with several parking lots. It would be a manageable distance to bike from.
There are traffic cameras at the 87th and LSD intersection and some above the parking area for the park. No other cameras were spotted throughout the land at the time of writing [mid April 2025].
The land specifically designated for the first phase of the construction of the Quantum base is directly south of the Steelworkers Park entrance. It butts up against the west side of the park and continues south towards US Army Corps of Engineers signs (looks like piles of rocks mostly tbh). This land is surrounded with a 5.5 ft fence. There are gates at several points which are locked, but there are a number of places where the fence has been damaged (notably on the north side there’s a giant rock that opens the space). It is also climbable. “No Trespassing” signs are nearly entirely absent. One was seen along with a US Army Corps of Engineers sign at the very westernmost fence near a gated entrance along LSD.
This lot varies in appearance; some areas have waist-height grass, some areas have denser trees, some of it is almost cleared. There are construction cones and little marking flags throughout, but it is not clear whether these are new or leftover from the past. There’s a bunch of trash, including two human-abandoned, bee-busy beehives. There are multiple “well testing” spots throughout. There are a number of gravel / dirt roads at various locations as well. There was a truck with a drill parked on one of these dirt roads. No workers were seen; unclear if the truck is there long term or what.
There’s a smaller fenced in area with a taller fence (~10ft) with barbed wire. The gate however is wide open. There’s a caterpillar sitting near this area, also unclear how long it’s been sitting.
It does not look like construction has started nor that there is elevated surveillance at this time. Keep watch, take risks. Fight against Quantum. Fight for the lake, the beavers, South Shore, for privacy and autonomy, for ur lovers and friends.

Your Neighbors are Being Trained by and Working with ICE. Do Something About it.

This was originally written in mid-April but left unfinished. The awe-inspiring insurgency currently taking place in LA and the preceding pushes against the Feds in Minneapolis, Worcester, and other cities across the country have reminded me why I wrote this in the first place.

With the surge of publicly recorded ICE arrests following Trump’s inauguration, videos have been posted to social media showing very odd behavior from the federal agents that have been arresting people.
A similar theme emerges—the pigs carrying out the arrest claim to be members of HSI (Homeland Security Investigations), a subset of ICE—while these raggedly dressed HSI ‘agents’ themselves look like they don’t have a clue what they’re doing.
My claim is that these HSI agents are in fact regular civilians that have underwent ICE’s civilian training programs, which have been up and running in the states since 2019 after its initial launch and testing in Puerto Rico. I examined three videos posted to Twitter/X since January, followed with a little investigating—from what I gather, all these arrests were carried out by amateur civilian HSI agents that almost certainly live in the same community as the people they are arresting. 🚨 URGENT: HUNGER STRIKE ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
“Death before defilement.”
Ekong Eshiet (#304103), currently incarcerated at Westville Correctional Facility in Indiana, is beginning a hunger strike on June 9, 2025 to protest his wrongful and indefinite solitary confinement.
Ekong was transferred from Red Onion State Prison in Virginia, where he endured horrific abuse, racial and religious discrimination, and was denied mental health care. After surviving self-immolation, instead of receiving care, he was transferred across state lines as retaliation—and placed back in long-term solitary, without explanation.
He has now been held in “restricted housing” for over 33 days, despite being classified as seriously mentally ill—a direct violation of DOC policies.

Vandalism at Michigan Tesla manufacturing site under investigation – Cascade Township, MI

The vandalism allegedly took place between March 28 and March 31 at the manufacturing site located at 5460 Executive Parkway SE in Cascade Township, police said.
There was minor damage to one of the building’s windows, the Kent County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
