This morning, over 50,000 people participated in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, a 26.2 mile race starting in the Loop, flanked and escorted by cops on all sides. Thousands of gratuitously patriotic fans lined downtown streets, holding signs, waving American flags (among other nations’ banners), and cheering loudly.

This pre-planned gridlock downtown fell days after the second anniversary of October 7th, 2023, marking two years of the ongoing US-backed Israeli genocide in Gaza, with a conservative under-count of over 67,000 Palestinians murdered to date. The run was ironically, unintentionally resonant—26 miles is also approximately the length of Gaza’s coastline.

Bank of America (B of A) sponsors and organizes the event, which carries a $250-260 registration fee. B of A is also a sponsor and accomplice to “Israel”‘s illegitimate colonial project and an active genocide financier.

We permenantly removed a Flock camera in Washtenaw County a few days ago. We did this because we do not like to be watched. We do not like abortion seekers, migrants, communities of color, or really anyone to be watched either. We believe that surveillance is a key tool for the settle colonial state to perpetuate itself. Fuck you, Alex Boyko. You are a rapist and we won’t forget what you’ve done. So we decided to pay your tattoo shop a vist. We spray painted your ring camera and took a hammer to it, glued your locks, and spray painted your store front so everyone knows what you did. And we rang the door bell haha you don’t deserve to sleep comfortably.

Alex Boyko is a serial rapist. He has sexually assaulted and harassed 200 people. Many are women and femmes who he was tattooing. He’s boasted about his assaults and he continues to run a tattoo shop at 28913 W. Seven Mile Road in Livonia. The courts will never give us justice but direct action is always at our fingertips. Cis men need to step up and make it a responsibility to deplatform rapists. Pay him a visit, cover your face so you’re not on camera, break his store, put him out of business. Ding dong, asshole, we’ll keep waking you up. You can’t hide from what you did.

UMPD Officer’s Home Redecorated

Last night, we visited the home of Milot Goci, a Lieutenant of UMPD. Twenty five years ago, Milot fled ethnic cleansing in Kosovo. Today, Milot is part of the machine that perpetuates the genocide in Gaza. He has overseen the brutalization and arrests of people protesting the University of Michigan’s funding of “israel” and the companies that are profiting from the blood of Palestinians.

We spray painted his garage with the words “GAZA = KOSOVO, FUCK12, FUCK DPSS” and broke a window of his house. We did this to remind those contributing to this genocide that so long as they continue doing so, they are not safe.

LDC Gas Forum in Chicago Disrupted

Evil Enbridge out of the Great Lakes! Shut Down Line 5 NOW! A noisy disruption swept through the cocktail reception of the LDC gas forum in Chicago. The 3 day forum consisted of talks from directors and players in the oil and gas industry, hype-ing false solutions like carbon capture technologies, and how to keep expanding the oil and gas industry further while we descend into a world of deeply uncertain futures as climate change reshapes and ravages ecosystems on a global level and biodiversity rapidly declines.

A group of people entered the hotel hosting the conference and crashed the attendee’s welcome reception of the 2024 LDC Mid-Continent Gas Conference. A banner with the words, “Enbridge Out of the Great Lakes, Shut Down Line 5 Now!” on one side and, “Evil Enbridge, Fuck Off!” on the other side was unfurled at the cocktail hour reception. People sang, and chanted with a bullhorn, played instruments, and left messages for Enbridge and other gas companies inside the hotel. After causing a ruckus inside, the group walked outside to the bar’s patio overlooking the Chicago River, and less than one mile from Lake Michigan, to “greet” more LDC conference attendees with noise, banners, and rowdy jeers. One person was arrested by the pigs for allegedly trespassing and released onsite.

Notably present, Enbridge, the pipeline company responsible for moving tar sands from Alberta, Canada to its conglomeration of pipelines surrounding the Great Lakes region, known as the “Lakehead pipeline system” hosted talks and presentations as a major contributor at the LDC gas forum. Enbridge directors even gave a girl-boss presentation named: “Empowering Women in Energy: Tomorrow is Together”, in an attempt to say their industry of death and destruction is at least inclusive to women and anyone else who wishes a oil & gas fueled speedy demise to human existence on this planet

Devil’s Night Peasants Visit Slumlord Stewart Beal

Hark! Let it be known that on this 30th of October – Devil’s Night – we, the peasants of so-called Ypsilanti, have declared that we have HAD ENOUGH of landlords! The peasants have united to declare to Stewart Beal, Ypsi’s own Scrooge McSlumlord, that he is not welcome in our town.

To Stewart Beal, we say: FUCKETH YOU. No amount of wealth can protect you from our wrath.

You have left us serfs with garbage, so we left you with our garbage. Eggs on your stupid giant windows, rotten tomatoes all over your door and porch, and remnants of our chamber pots in the form of toilet paper all over your trees.

(We hear you are particularly terrified of Mountain Dew, so we hope you enjoyed the bottles we left.)

We were supported by the souls of those you have cheated, robbed, and killed. As we worked, gravestones sprang up across your lawn in memory not only of our collective security deposits and the rats that died in our walls, but also of those like Jeremy “Jake” Burd, the construction worker whose death you caused on May 11, 2015 through your cruel and callous disregard for the safety of not only your tenants but your employees.

The Ghosts of Christmas Past gave Scrooge a second chance, but the Ghosts of Devil’s Night and Halloween do not. Beal will know no comfort until he abandons his properties and makes reparations for his crimes. The peasants, renters, rough sleepers, toilers, and caretakers all live DESPITE what the city, police, and lords do to us– not BECAUSE of what they do for us. We do not need them. Until they are thrown off and everything they have stolen has been reclaimed… Every night can be Devil’s Night.

University of Michigan Admin Homes and Israel-Linked Businesses Redecorated on October 7th

To mark one year of genocide against the Palestinian people, an autonomous group visited the homes of two University of Michigan leaders, President Santa Ono and Chief Investment Officer Erik Lundberg. They also decorated the offices of the Jewish Federation of Detroit and the Michigan Israel Business Accelerator, organizations that are deeply entrenched in the apartheid state. From businesses to universities, we reject all financial support for the Israeli regime.

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution Service Center Beautified

An office building entrance is vandalized. A broken window has "FUCK MAERSK" spray-painted on it. Other messages are spray-painted on the wall, door and sidewalk: "FREE PALESTINE", "FUCK THE IOF", "INTIFADA" and "CUT TIES WITH GENOCIDE". Splatters of red paint are all around.

In the early hours of July 8, Maersk’s warehousing and distribution service center in romulus, mi was targeted by an autonomous group.The Maersk entrance was beautified with statements like “Fuck Maersk” and “Cut ties with genocide.”This action was done in line with the Palestinian Youth Movement’s Mask Off Maersk campaign, as Maersk plays a direct role in committing and continuing the genocide of the people of Palestine. In the last nine months, Maersk has transported hundreds of millions of dollars worth of weapons components to the top 5 weapons manufacturers in the US for assembly. Without Maersk those weapons would not reach israel.We demand that Maersk stops shipping weapons to the zionist entity, and that they cut ties with genocide. Until then, we will continue to escalate against all empires and those that fund and empower them. We encourage all those who read this to take action against the genocidal supply chain and against colonialism, in whatever form it may appear.

Chicago has amplified calls from the Palestinian resistance factions for mobilization against the Zionist entity and its enablers in the month of Ramadan and to mark six months since the beginning of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood. Israel cannot prosecute this war of extermination without the financial support of the United States. Nor can it maintain the pace of destruction without massive American arms transfers. In light of this we level our attack on the reserves and industrial capacity of the military-industrial complex.

A short drive west from Chicago sits the Rock Island Arsenal, headquarters of the US Army’s Joint Munitions Command. The JMC produces, tests, stores, repairs, and distributes conventional weapons, chemical weapons, vehicles, and other materiel to supply the US armed forces – and for arms sales and transfers. A militarily designated strategic rail network (STRACNET) rail line crosses the west end of the island on which the arsenal sits, connecting it to other JMC facilities and the wider strategic rail network at large. This rail bridge crosses a section of the Mississippi River that frequently floods – as such, its steel supports on the industrial southern bank have seen better days.
