This was originally written in mid-April but left unfinished. The awe-inspiring insurgency currently taking place in LA and the preceding pushes against the Feds in Minneapolis, Worcester, and other cities across the country have reminded me why I wrote this in the first place.
May their flames bellow unto us.

With the surge of publicly recorded ICE arrests following Trump’s inauguration, videos have been posted to social media showing very odd behavior from the federal agents that have been arresting people.
A similar theme emerges—the pigs carrying out the arrest claim to be members of HSI (Homeland Security Investigations), a subset of ICE—while these raggedly dressed HSI ‘agents’ themselves look like they don’t have a clue what they’re doing.
My claim is that these HSI agents are in fact regular civilians that have underwent ICE’s civilian training programs, which have been up and running in the states since 2019 after its initial launch and testing in Puerto Rico. I examined three videos posted to Twitter/X since January, followed with a little investigating—from what I gather, all these arrests were carried out by amateur civilian HSI agents that almost certainly live in the same community as the people they are arresting.
Per the Immigrant Defense Project:
“Internal documents shed light on the “Citizens Academy” programs, a controversial public relations initiative run by the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) that began under the Obama administration and expanded over Trump. Obtained via Freedom of Information ACT (FOIA) litigation, the records show ICE has recruited influential people – journalists, elected officials, law enforcement, business executives , and senior NGO staff – to attend multi-week programs where they train extensively with guns, learn immigration enforcement tactics, and roleplay agents, launching mock raids on immigrants.”
The briefing guide mentions a failed attempt at opening an “ERO” (Enforcement and Removal Operations) academy in Chicago—similar, but different to HSI—after locals successfully fought against its opening. A typical HSI citizen academy involves groups of around 20 community ‘stakeholders’ at a time being trained in handling/shooting various firearms, executing mock ‘raids’, and even learning how to yell “Drop the gun!” while drawing and firing. Yes, really.
Now, as for the videos posted to social media, let’s run through the three:
Video 1 is an ICE arrest of Rumeysa Ozturk, a Turkish doctoral student at Tufts University in Massachusetts on March 15th.
Video 2 is what initially brought me to write this; a TikTok from a Virginia family attorney, James Rivera (@7jimmie77 on TikTok), responding to an attempted “welfare check” by HSI agents at his client’s home in early April.
Video 3 is the arrest of Columbia University student Mohsen Madawi by HSI agents during his appointment to become a U.S. citizen.
And now now analysis:
Video 1 shows a suspiciously diverse group of ‘agents’ that flail around as they apprehend Rumeysa.
Video 2 has an extremely unusual makeup of hands-in-their-pockets ‘agents’, the leader of which claims to be doing a ‘welfare check’ while pulling out a badge ad claiming to be from HSI. Then, in a move that clearly shows they have no clue what they’re doing, their leader points to the lawyer’s paralegal—a Hispanic woman—and claims that she is in fact the woman they are looking for. After realizing how stupid they look they awkwardly stand in silence, with one of them turning their back to the camera, and then unceremoniously leave after their leader decides it’s time to go.
Video 3 again shows five amateur ‘agents’, wearing hoods and what can only be described as chud-facemasks, arrest Mohsen in what very well could be their personal vehicles.
In other words, these people carrying out ICE raids are not all trained and pay-rolled federal agents. And it makes sense that they couldn’t be, as Trump has called for such a drastic increase in arrests in such a short amount of time. Calling them collaborators is putting it lightly. They have taken the multitude of extra steps outside of their normal life in order to hunt and kill people. And they should be treated as the filth that they are.
They have names, they have addresses.
You know the drill.
